Website News Articles

Put our legal news articles on your website

Our website articles are free when you subscribe to our print newsletters.

At Media Coverage we believe that content is king when it comes to creating a website that will attract and hold the interest of your clients.

If visitors don’t have something interesting to read then no amount of clever design work or site optimisation systems will hold their attention. On the other hand, if they find well written articles outlining the latest legal developments then they are more likely to stay. And the longer they stay, the more likely they are to learn about your services and look to you for advice when needed.

Law firms have an advantage over other professions

Lawyers have a distinct advantage over other professions in attracting interest from potential clients because of the wide-ranging importance of your chosen subject – the law itself. It affects all our lives and therefore people will always want to know more about it - as long as the information is presented in an interesting way.

This gives you a chance to interact with your clients on a constant basis because you can provide them with information that may affect and even change their lives. This applies in so many different areas whether it be employment, matrimonial, company law, residential property, personal injury and so on.

There is hardly a single area of the law that hasn’t changed in some way over the last 12 months – whether it’s new legislation coming into effect, new regulations from Europe or the regular flow of court rulings that modify the law in the relevant field.

Each development is an opportunity for you to engage with your clients by explaining to them what the changes mean to them.

So, there is no shortage of material. The problem is monitoring it all, researching it and then writing it up in a way that is interesting to your clients. Most lawyers are too busy keeping up with their case load to have the time to produce the constant flow of articles needed.

We can help by doing it all for you. We can provide you with professionally written articles reflecting the latest legal developments.

We supply monthly web article feeds, one for your business clients and one for your private clients.

Private Client Web Articles

Our Private Client Web Articles cover subjects that will be of interest to your private clients. They contain articles relating to services such as wills and probate, trusts, matrimonial and cohabiting, family, buying and selling a home, personal injury, clinical negligence, employment, inheritance, litigation, lasting power of attorney, living wills, professional negligence.

Business Client Web Articles

Our Business Client Web Articles cover subjects that will be of interest to businesses and employers. They contain articles relating to services such as commercial property, company law, contracts, commercial litigation, landlord and tenant, commercial law, employment, buying and selling a business, disputes, professional negligence, licensing, development.

Not all subjects in the list above will be covered each month but we try to reflect most areas over the course of the year.

The best way to receive our monthly articles is to subscribe to our print newsletters because that way they are completely free. If you subscribe to our quarterly four-page private client or business client newsletters we will automatically supply you with an average of eight articles each month free of charge. Many of our clients subscribe to both newsletters and so they receive an average of 16 articles each month.

Clients who subscribe to our Combined Private Client and Business Client Newsletters receive an average of 10 articles each month.

If you subscribe to our two-page quarterly private client or business client newsletter we will provide you with an average of four articles each month. If you subscribe to both you will receive an average of eight articles.

You may prefer to take the articles without subscribing to the newsletter. If so, we will be happy to provide a news flow to suit your requirements.

Prices

We can provide you with eight private client or business client articles each month for just £95 plus VAT.

Alternatively, you take four private or business articles each month for just £55 plus VAT.

How to make the most of the articles

If you want to make the process as simple as possible you can place all the articles on your website news page at the same time at the beginning of each month. However, the site will appear more dynamic if the articles are placed on the site one by one every few days. This is more like a professional newsgathering approach and means the site is constantly being refreshed and updated.

Many firms like to place one or two article headlines on their Home Page with links to the full story on a separate news page. This has the advantage of always having something new and interesting on your Landing Page – a technique which is attractive to search engines - without taking too much attention away from what may be your main message about the services you offer.

If you choose to update every few days, remember to put the latest article at the top rather than at the end so the visitor sees the latest information first.

Alterations and Amendments

The articles are all sent to you as Microsoft Word documents at the same time each month. You will be able to alter them as you wish to highlight a particular service within your firm or to include your particular view on a subject. However, most of our clients use them exactly as we send them.

Adding the articles to your website

Different firms have different IT arrangements. Consequently, if you have the systems in place you can add the articles to your website yourself each month. Alternatively, we can do it for you for a small additional fee, depending on the kind content management system you use.

Exclusivity of Material

When you subscribe to one of our Website Article services, we can guarantee that we will not supply the same material to any other firm in your area. We would normally define your area by postcode (to be agreed) or as being anywhere within a five mile radius of your main office.

Website news articles make your website more interesting and can help improve your rankings with search engines. A constant flow of legal news items lifts your site out of the ordinary and makes it appear more vibrant and important. Why not contact us to find out more!

If you're trying to persuade people to do something, or buy something, it seems to me you should use their language, the language in which they think.
