Why should law firms send out newsletters?

Well produced newsletters can help you cross promote your services to existing clients. Providing a news service enables you to contact clients regularly reminding them that you still value them and have a whole range of services to offer. The newsletters can be posted out or made available at your seminars, surgeries and client events. They can also be offered to clients in your reception areas.

Many firms try to produce newsletters but find them too time-consuming which is hardly surprising given the hectic pace of life in most firms. We can take all that pressure away from you with bright, vibrant newsletters that are both informative and easy to read.

We offer a wide spectrum of choice from our standard, syndicated newsletters to those which are highly personalised to individual firms and some that are fully bespoke.

Quality newsletters for all your marketing needs

We provide several high quality, competitively priced standard newsletters for you to send to your clients covering a wide range of subjects.

We design the newsletters using your logo and artwork. The headlines and panels will be in your firm’s colours to emphasise your corporate brand. You will be able to list your services and contact details. Many firms like to include photos of the partners and we can do this for you at no extra cost.

We will not supply the newsletters to any other firm in your selected area (usually defined by postcode.)

All the articles will reflect the services offered by your firm. You can also include articles of your own if you wish so you can highlight developments within your firm or promote a particular service.

You can also include an ad for specific services, surgeries or forthcoming seminars at no extra cost.

The end result is a newsletter which perfectly reflects your corporate brand, is professionally written and designed to the highest standards. All this yet our prices are only a fraction of what you would have to pay if you had to commission all the articles yourself from scratch and then hire in a firm to design the newsletter and provide all the photos.

The newsletters are sent to you as ready to print high resolution pdfs with all the necessary crop marks and printer’s instructions. We also supply a pdf version which is suitable for posting on your website or sending out as an email attachment.

In addition to all this, at no extra cost, we also supply you with several articles each month for you to place on your website as news updates or to send out as an email newsletter. It means that by subscribing to our quarterly newsletters, you not only get a first class fully designed newsletter suitable for printing and sending out by email, you also get material for your website to make it look livelier and to attract the attention of search engines.

Private Client Newsletters

Our Private Client Newsletters cover subjects that will be of interest to your private clients. They contain articles relating to services such as wills and probate, trusts, matrimonial and cohabiting, family, buying and selling a home, personal injury, clinical negligence, employment, inheritance, litigation, lasting power of attorney, living wills, professional negligence.

Business Client Newsletters

Our Business Client Newsletters cover subjects that will be of interest to businesses and employers. They contain articles relating to services such as commercial property, company law, contracts, commercial litigation, landlord and tenant, commercial law, employment, buying and selling a business, disputes, professional negligence, licensing, development.

Both the Business Client and the Private Client Newsletters are available as four page or two page A4 formats.

Selection of articles

Each newsletter will contain articles drawn from the relevant subjects listed above. You can choose the subject areas you wish to include or exclude.

For example, if you want a private client newsletter but you don’t provide personal injury as one of your services then we won’t place personal injury articles in your newsletter. Similarly, if you want a business client newsletter but you don’t cover litigation then we won’t include articles on that subject.

Not all subjects in the list above will be covered in each newsletter but we shall try to reflect most areas over the course of the year.

Combined Newsletters

Many of our clients subscribe to both our Business Client and our Private Client newsletters. Some, however, prefer to take a combined newsletter featuring articles from both sections. We are happy to provide 4-page combined newsletters that will reflect both your business and private client services.

 

Customised and Bespoke Newsletters

Our standard newsletters are already customised to reflect your firm’s services and corporate brand. They feature your logo, artwork and colours. They list your services and contact details and can include photos of partners if you wish.

You may also include an article of your own in each edition together with an advert for seminars, surgeries or particular services.

Most clients find this perfectly sufficient for their needs but some prefer to go a little further. We are happy to help and can offer several options for you to customise your newsletter even more while still keeping costs well below those of a fully bespoke version.

For example, the newsletters are compiled using a selection of articles we send to you each month. With our standard newsletters we select which articles are used from the subject areas you have chosen. However, clients may elect to choose some or all of the articles themselves to ensure the newsletter exactly covers the areas they want to highlight at any particular time. The cost can be agreed depending on the number of articles you wish to specify.

Occasionally, clients may want to alter an article in the newsletter to change the emphasis or to make a particular point relating specifically to their firm. This too is possible for a small additional fee. We can also quote for placing full page or half page ads etc.

We can also place names of individual solicitors and their contact details at the end of each article. The cost will depend on how much detail you wish to include such as phone numbers and email addresses.

You may have other ideas in mind. Different approaches work better for different firms and we would be happy to work with you to provide exactly the kind of newsletter you want.

You have your own designer?

Some of our clients already have a good working relationship with a design firm and prefer to stay with them but would still like to use our articles to supply the content. That is fine. We are happy to provide you with a selection of articles that you can take and use to design your own newsletter.

You prefer to write your own articles?

If you prefer to write your own articles then we would still be delighted to help by providing the first class design service you will need to produce a newsletter. We can provide the photos, the artwork and above all the technical expertise needed to do justice to your material.

Bespoke newsletters

Most clients are happy with our standard and customised newsletters but some prefer to produce something that is completely bespoke to them. If you would prefer a bespoke newsletter then please let us know the kind of style and approach you have in mind. We’ll be happy to help and provide a quote.

Exclusivity of Material

When you subscribe to a particular newsletter, we can guarantee that we will not supply the same newsletter containing the same material to any other firm in your area. We would normally define your area by postcode (to be agreed) or as being anywhere within a five mile radius of your main office.

Alterations and Amendments

Clients are always sent a draft of the newsletter before printing. In the unlikely event that any of the articles contain any factual errors then we will correct them immediately at no extra charge. You will never be put in a situation where you are sending out an article you believe to be incorrect.

Subscription

There is no minimum subscription term. If you choose subscribe for 12 months, ie four quarterly newsletters, there is no set up charge. However, if you only want to take a one-off newsletter or subscribe for only a few editions then there will be a set-up fee of £150 to cover the cost of creating your newsletter template with your corporate branding.
